All eyes on Mamata-Sharad Pawar meet after Maha govt crisis
Meeting to discuss the agricultural problems in this part of the country

A day after Congress- NCP government in Maharashtra plunged into a crisis following deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar's resignation from the state cabinet, NCP supremo Sharad Pawar will be meeting Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee in a government function here today.
Union agriculture minister Sharad Pawar will be meeting chief ministers of seven north eastern states, including West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee to dicuss agricultural problems in this part of the country.
During the five-hour long function at town hall here, Pawar is also like to meet Banerjee separately. Officials say, in the meeting, Mamata Banerjee will convey her displeasure about rising prices of fertiliser.
But, the sudden political development in Maharastra with NCP MLAs threatening to leave the Congress-led coalition following Ajit Pawar's resignation, has put a spotlight on scheduled meeting between Mamata Banerjee and Sharad Pawar.
