Consult experts for power projects: BJP

"I ask government to take initiatives on the stalled hydropower projects. It should hold talks with environmentalists," Rawat told reporters here.       

"The projects do not pollute river. Hydropower is rather a "blessing" of mother Ganga," he noted.       

Admitting that river Ganga was getting polluted, the BJP leader said a campaign should be launched to restrain people from such activities along the banks.
