GCET 2018 Examination Details
GCET examination is based on 11th and 12th standard syllabus of Goa state. The examination covers 4 subjects or topics namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. The examination will consist of 75 multiple-choice, objective type questions from each subject valued at 1 mark each. Time duration for the GCET examination is 2 hours and there is no negative marking.

GCET 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Engineering - Candidates should have completed 10+2 with English, Mathematics and Physics as subjects from a recognised university or institution and should have scored a minimum of 45% marks for general category students and 40% marks for reserved category students.
BHMS and AHS - Candidates should have completed 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects from a recognised university or institution and should have scored a minimum of 50% marks for general category students and 45% marks for reserved category students.
B Pharma - Candidates should have completed 10+2 with English, Physics and Chemistry as subjects from a recognized university or institution.
B Sc Nursing - Candidates should have completed 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects from a recognised university or institution and should have scored a minimum of 45% marks for general category students and 40% marks for reserved category students.
Candidates should be a citizen of India; NRI, OCI and PIO candidates can apply under the NRI quota
For some courses, there is a minimum age limit of 17 years that the candidates should have attained as or on 31st December
GCET 2018 Step by Step Application Procedure
Aspiring candidate will first have to procure the application forms either by downloading them online from the official website or Directorate of Technical Education or they can procure it offline from the Application Reception centre.
Candidate will receive Application Form A and Form B along with Photo Admit card in the prospectus. They need to fill only Application Form A by providing all required personal and educational details. Application Form B will have to be submitted after the entrance examination.
Candidate will submit the filled Application Form A in person at any of the two below mentioned GCET application form receiving centres.

Along with the Application Form A candidates also need to submit 3 passport size photographs, self-attested photocopies of SSC passing certificate and 12th standard passing certificate and a Demand Draft of Rs. 1500 drawn in the favour of Director of Technical Education, Goa payable at Panaji.
