Lok Sabha polls: Women catch up, but men still wield disproportionate power

Gender injustice in India is omnipresent, and the political arena is no exception. A look at data shows that while women are narrowing the gap with men for competing in elections, the chance of a woman getting an executive role in direct dissemination of power is still low.
