Dispatch of Relief materials to Myanmar

On the request of the Government of Myanmar, India has rushed relief supplies to its neighbour Myanmar which has seen heavy flooding due to rain in the past few days. In terms of immediate response, India has arranged 100 tons of rice, 10,000 packets of noodles and 10 tons of medicines like Chlorine tablets, anti-diarrhoeal tablets and other life saving drugs.

The three aircrafts carrying relief supplies will take off tomorrow morning and provide supplies to Mandlay and Kaleli in Myanmar.
