Future Ready Combat Vehicle for the Army

The Indian Army has published a 'Request for Information (RFI)' for participation in the proposed Design Competition for the Future Ready Combat Vehicle (FRCV). The Indian Army has been working in close cooperation with Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on a multitude of equipment projects including Arjun Tanks. The DRDO has taken measures to address critical advanced technologies for all the future Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFVs).

This information was given by Defence Minister Shri Manohar Parrikar in a written reply to Shri A.W Rabi Bernard in Rajya Sabha on Thursday, 30 July 2015.
