UN chief Antonio Guterres to visit Moscow on Tuesday, will meet Putin

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will visit Moscow on Tuesday, and will meet with Russia's President Vladimir Putin following its February invasion of Ukraine, a spokesperson for the U.N. chief said.

Guterres will also have a working meeting and lunch with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Eri Kaneko, Guterres' associate spokesperson, told a press briefing in New York on Friday.

"He hopes to talk about what can be done to bring peace to Ukraine urgently," Kaneko said.
