ACC, Maruti and ITC have gained 3.8% each at Rs 496, Rs 571 and Rs 177, respectively.
ONGC and Hindustan Unilever have moved up 3.5% each to Rs 907 and Rs 209, respectively.
ICICI Bank has advanced nearly 3% to Rs 618. Satyam and Hindalco have added 2.5% each to Rs 474 and Rs 141, respectively.
DLF, Grasim and HDFC Bank are up over 2% each at Rs 424, Rs 1,730 and Rs 1,021, respectively.
Reliance (RIL) and Tata Motors are down over 1% each to Rs 2,075 and Rs 397, respectively.
