Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday received a horse named 'Kanthaka' from his Mongolian counterpart imed Saikhanbileg.
MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted a photograph of the unusual gift, saying, "A special gift for a special visitor!Mongolian PM gifts horse to PM @narendramodi."
The Prime Minister, too, tweeted a photograph of the 'gift' he received.
"With Kanthaka, a gift from Mongolia," he said.
Prime Minister Modi had earlier received a musical instrument, Morin Khuur, from President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj of Mongolia.

The Prime Minister had presented President Elbegdorj a specially commissioned reproduction of a rare 13th century manuscript on theistory of Mongols from the Rampur Raza Library.
Prime Minister Modi is currently on a one- day trip to Mongolia, where he attended the Mini-Naadam Festival in Ulaanbaatar. Prime Ministerodi also addressed the Mongolian Parliament and announced one billion U.S. dollars Line of Credit to develop institutions, infrastructure and human resources in the country.
