Akhilesh Yadav meets ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav met renowned Pakistan ghazal singer Ghulam Ali here on Saturday.

The ghazal maestro is scheduled to perform at a function at a hotel in Lucknow today evening.

Earlier this week, his performances in Mumbai and Pune were cancelled after Shiv Sena's threats.

Following the cancellation, Delhi minister Kapil Mishra and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee invited the singer to perform in the national capital and Kolkata respectively.
