Amanda Bynes has been deemed mentally competent to undergo criminal proceedings in her DUI case, it has been revealed.
An LA judge in mental health court made the decision based on the former Nickelodeon star's medical records provided by her doctors, Radar Online reported.
The 27-year-old actress, who has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder, was arrested in West Hollywood in April 2012.
She is currently receiving specialized treatment in a private facility outside of LA.
