Congress protests against Ashwini Chaubey's remark on Sonia, Rahul

Congress workers staged a protest on Saturday against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ashwini Chaubey for his alleged remarks against party president Sonia Gandhi and its vice-president Rahul Gandhi.

The protestors shouted slogans denouncing Chaubey and carried placards with messages demanding his apology.

According to reports, Chaubey had earlier described Sonia Gandhi as mythical demonic character 'Putana' and called Rahul Gandhi a 'Parrot'.
