Duchess of Cornwall Camilla's brother, Mark Shand, has rebuffed "laughably untrue" rumors that he ever dated Sven-Goran Eriksson's former girlfriend Nancy Dell'Olio.
According to a UK publication, 62-year-old Shand said that he has never had an affair with Dell'Olio, asserting that there has not been any romance and never will be.
He continued saying that he is more likely to have an affair with a ripe pomegranate because he is very fond of pomegranates.
Shand said that he knows the brunette beauty through his charity work, but there have been some staggering stories claiming that the duo spent time together at her house.
Shand added that he has given consistent denials of any dating and certainly of any affair which have been ignored as some papers clearly think some stories, even if untrue, are too enticing not to run.
