Holi celebrated with fervour at Dwarkadhish temple

After Banke Bihari temple, festive fervour has gripped the Dwarkadhish temple in Mathura.

As per the religious beliefs, with the arrival of the spring, Mathura starts celebrating Holi 40-45 days before the main festival.

To mark the occasion, the devotees and saints perform aarti in the temple and, thereafter, play with Gulal.

The festival will continue till one month.

Holi, also known as the festival of colours, is celebrated across India to mark the end of winter season and beginning of spring.
