ISIS beheads Kurdish soldier in Iraq: Report

Image

ANI London

The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has reportedly released a video showing the beheading of a Kurdish man in order to warn the Iraqi forces fighting against ISIS in Iraq.

The video is titled "A message in blood" and shows several captured Iraqi soldiers dressed in orange jumpsuits and the victim kneeling on the ground near a mosque in the militant-held city of Mosul before he is beheaded, reported the BBC.

The ISIS warned that other captured soldiers will also be killed if Kurdish leaders keep supporting the U.S.

Kurdish forces from the autonomous region of Kurdistan in northern Iraq have been trying to combat the ISIS and are being backed by U.S. air strikes.

The group beheaded American journalist James Foley last week in retaliation to U.S. military operation against the ISIS in Iraq.
