The 20-year-old admitted to HollywoodLife.com that if she had a choice, she would have given Rihanna, 25, the number one position, Contactmusic reported.
Miley, who leaked the results early via her Twitter page before the official announcement, confessed that she was so excited about the title that she found it impossible to keep the secret.
Miley also posted an exclusive picture of herself from the magazine's upcoming steamy spread, in which she can be seen laying seductively on a beach in a gold swimsuit.
