One Indian Army jawan was killed and four terrorists were gunned down in an encounter at Nadigam village of Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district on Tuesday.
The encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in the wee hours today.
Two days back, two terrorists associated with terror outfit Al-Badr were killed in an encounter in Rebban area of the Shopian district. On the same day, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan lost his life after terrorists opened fire on a CRPF camp at Railway Colony in Pulwama's Kakapora area.
Meanwhile, all schools have been closed in Degwar, Malti and other adjoining areas of Poonch sector after Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation along the Line of Control.
