Sino-Pak army relations will grow to unprecedented heights: Raheel Sharif

Pakistan Army Chief General Raheel Sharif has said that relations between Chinese and Pakistani armies are of a 'special status' that will grow to unprecedented heights in the future.

According to the Dawn, his statement came during a visit to the Bahadur Ranges near Attock, where he witnessed a Pakistan-China field exercise, codenamed 'Warrior-III', on Tuesday.

A seven-week-long exercise with a focus on counter-terrorism operations was conducted by the special forces of Pakistan Army and People's Liberation Army (PLA), according to the military's media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

A high-level Chinese military delegation under General Li Fayi represented the PLA at the closing ceremony.
