Two Indian-origin boys have been crowned the co-winners of the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
For the first time in 52 years, two spellers have been declared co-champions, ABC News reported.
Sriram Hathwar, 14, of Painted Post, New York, and Ansun Sujoe, 13, of Fort Worth, Texas, shared the title after they spelled a dozen words correctly in a row.
Both the winners took home the 30,000 dollar prize.
