Gillette India standalone net profit declines 20.39% in the June 2017 quarter

Sales decline 14.68% to Rs 407.60 crore

Net profit of Gillette India declined 20.39% to Rs 37.67 crore in the quarter ended June 2017 as against Rs 47.32 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2016. Sales declined 14.68% to Rs 407.60 crore in the quarter ended June 2017 as against Rs 477.74 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 18.16% to Rs 253.08 crore in the year ended June 2017 as against Rs 214.18 crore during the previous year ended June 2016. Sales declined 1.23% to Rs 1733.60 crore in the year ended June 2017 as against Rs 1755.19 crore during the previous year ended June 2016.
