In an exchange filing made after market hours on Friday, 14 February 2020, Hero MotoCorp said the company has commenced the dispatches of three more BS-VI products - Splendor+ in the motorcycle segment and Destini 125 and Maestro Edge 125 in the premium scooter segment.

These launches come close on the heels of the BS-VI versions of the Splendor iSmart and HF Deluxe motorcycles and the Pleasure+ 110 scooter, which are already available in the market.

Hero MotoCorp is currently manufacturing only BS-VI scooters.

The new products have been designed and developed completely in-house at the Company's R&D hub - the Center of Innovation and Technology (CIT) in the northern Indian city of Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Meanwhile, the two-wheeler major in a separate announcement on Friday, stated "The ongoing issue of Coronavirus (Covid-19) in China has affected the supply of some components to our manufacturing facilities in India. This is likely to impact our planned production by around 10% for the month of February. However, the wholesale dispatchesof our vehicles to the dealers during the month remain unaffected. Any further impact on our production will depend on the developing situation in China. We continue to track the developments and keep evaluating our options."

The stock fell 2.17% to Rs 2356.75 yesterday, 14 January 2020.

Hero MotoCorp is a motorcycle and scooter manufacturer. The company is the largest two-wheeler manufacturer in the world.
