Information Technology stocks slide
Information Technology stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE IT Sector index decreasing 209.9 points or 1.65% at 12505.79 at 13:52 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE IT Sector index, Infibeam Avenues Ltd (down 9.97%), Zen Technologies Ltd (down 4.9%),3i Infotech Ltd (down 4.41%),Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (down 3.84%),Tanla Solutions Ltd (down 2.24%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Infosys Ltd (down 2.13%), Ramco Systems Ltd (down 1.93%), Aptech Ltd (down 1.46%), eClerx Services Ltd (down 0.94%), and Zensar Technologies Ltd (down 0.94%).
On the other hand, Subex Ltd (up 7.34%), 63 Moons Technologies Ltd (up 6.51%), and Newgen Software Technologies Ltd (up 6.16%) turned up.
At 13:52 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 189.09 or 0.63% at 29878.12.
The Nifty 50 index was down 36.8 points or 0.42% at 8755.4.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 170.81 points or 1.74% at 9968.02.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 55.43 points or 1.59% at 3544.85.
On BSE,1433 shares were trading in green, 731 were trading in red and 152 were unchanged.
