Real Estate stocks edge higher
Real Estate stocks were trading in green, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index increasing 82.93 points or 5.76% at 1521.82 at 09:52 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, DLF Ltd (up 9.99%), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (up 9.97%),Sunteck Realty Ltd (up 8.98%),Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 8.24%),Sobha Ltd (up 5.65%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 4.89%), Godrej Properties Ltd (up 4.04%), Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 1.73%), Phoenix Mills Ltd (up 1.51%), and Omaxe Ltd (up 1.22%).
At 09:52 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 1002.03 or 3.35% at 30948.8.
The Nifty 50 index was up 344.1 points or 3.98% at 8985.55.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 375.18 points or 3.96% at 9845.63.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 119.46 points or 3.46% at 3569.17.
On BSE,1203 shares were trading in green, 220 were trading in red and 62 were unchanged.
