Real Estate shares rise

Real Estate stocks were trading in the positive zone, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index rising 28.56 points or 1.16% at 2486.18 at 09:48 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 4.25%), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 3.43%),Sobha Ltd (up 1.99%),Godrej Properties Ltd (up 1.57%),Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 1.55%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Sunteck Realty Ltd (up 0.55%), DLF Ltd (up 0.48%), and Omaxe Ltd (up 0.32%).

On the other hand, Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 0.93%), moved lower.

At 09:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 252.79 or 0.61% at 41368.17.

 

The Nifty 50 index was up 57.25 points or 0.47% at 12164.15.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 67.22 points or 0.46% at 14700.38.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 30.35 points or 0.61% at 5035.06.

On BSE,937 shares were trading in green, 446 were trading in red and 56 were unchanged.
