Sun TV Network standalone net profit rises 0.19% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 3.10% to Rs 582.50 crore

Net profit of Sun TV Network rose 0.19% to Rs 235.91 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 235.47 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 3.10% to Rs 582.50 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 564.97 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 12.62% to Rs 979.41 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 869.69 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 6.81% to Rs 2558.25 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 2395.21 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
