Anindo Majumdar appointed as CVC's new Secretary

The Centre on Tuesday appointed Anindo Majumdar as Secretary of the Central Vigilance Commission.

"The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Anindo Majumdar, a 1985 batch IAS AGMUT cadre, as Secretary, CVC in the rank and pay of Secretary," an official release said.

In another appointment Kamlesh Nilkanth Vyas, Director of Bhaba Atomic Research Centre has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Atomic Energey and Chairman of Atomic Energy Commission.
