The Brazilian football team beat South Korea 2-0 to renew two records of the Women's World Cup.

Formiga, 37, scored the opening goal in the first half on Tuesday to become the oldest ever goal scorer in the tournament's history, reported Xinhua news agency.

In the second half, Marta's penalty marked her 15th career World Cup goal, breaking the record by retired German star Brigit Prinz.

South Korea's next match will be against Costa Rica on Saturday, who tied with Spain 1-1.
