The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Tuesday registered the 13th preliminary enquiry (PE) in the Niira Radia tapes case, an official said.
The CBI official said the agency has registered the 13th PE against a senior IT department officer and some middlemen.
Earlier, the CBI registered 12 PEs on the instructions of the Supreme Court in the tapped conversations between Radia and various high-profile individuals.
