CLT20: Scorchers-Lions tie washed off

The Champions League Twenty20 Group A match between Perth Scorchers and Lions here Monday has been abandoned due to heavy rain.

The Lions, from South Africa, won the toss and elected to field but the match was called off without a ball being bowled at the Sardar Patel Stadium here.

Both teams get two points each. Rajasthan Royals lead the group thanks to their victory over Mumbai Indians in their first match Saturday.
