Delhi Police SI arrested while accepting bribe

A Delhi Police sub-inspector was arrested while taking bribe of Rs.50,000 from a person for not implicating him in a case here, a CBI official said.

The sub-inspector posted at Chanakyapuri police station had demanded a bribe of Rs.4 lakh from the complainant for not implicating him in the case being investigated by the him, said the official of Central Bureau of Investigation.

The CBI laid a trap and the official was Thursday caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs.50,000 in Moti Bagh area of south Delhi.
