Gujarat CM meets Pranab

Anandiben Patel, the first woman chief minister of Gujarat who took over after Narendra Modi became prime minister, Tuesday met President Pranab Mukherjee here.

"The meeting that lasted for 15 minutes was a courtesy call. This was her first meeting with the president after she was sworn in as Gujarat's first woman chief minister," said a statement issued by the Gujarat government.
