Mobile app covers Delhi's cultural activities

A mobile application that covers various aspects of Delhi such as monuments, vibrant markets and cultural events was launched here Monday, said organisers.

Delhipedia, a location-based app, allows viewers to see places of interest and then preview or learn more about the places through a small video that will take the viewers on a visual tour.

"With digitisation and technology being the key drivers for our day-to-day activities, we thought of creating an application that could take one through the city, places that are unexplored," said the statement.

"To make it more connected with people, we have made it visually appealing through our videos," it added.
