Month after wife goes missing, former Haryana minister dies

Less than a month after his wife and two relatives went missing in disaster-hit Uttarakhand, former Haryana minister Tejinder Pal Mann died following cardiac arrest, a Haryana government spokesman said here Monday.

Mann, 75, died in New Delhi Sunday evening. His wife Pushpa and two relatives were reported missing in Uttarakhand last month following the flash-floods and landslides. They had gone to Kedarnath shrine on a pilgrimage.

Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda visited Mann's family in Karnal Monday and expressed his condolences.
