Mumbai Indians win maiden IPL title

Mumbai Indians won their maiden Indian Premier League title, beating Chennai Super Kings at the Eden Gardens here Sunday.

Chennai, in reply to Mumbai's 148 for nine, could only manage 125 for nine. Mahendra Singh Dhoni's 63 not out did not prove to be enough.

Kieron Pollard smashed an unbeaten 60 for Mumbai.
