Nut rage: Ex-Korean Air official freed

A South Korean court on Friday acquitted a former vice president of Korean Air of charges of changing the route of a flight in a so-called "nut rage" incident.
Cho Hyun-ah, on December 5, 2014, ordered a senior crew member to return to the gate of the airport as she had served her nuts in an unopened bag rather than on a plate, Yonhap News Agency reported.
The Seoul-bound flight from New York was already been taxiing when Cho Hyun-ah had it return to the gate. The plane moved 17 metres to enable the cabin crew chief to de-plane, resulting in departure being delayed by 24 minutes.
Cho was jailed for an year but the Seoul High Court ruled that she should serve a suspended sentence.
However, she remains guilty of using violence against flight attendants.
