PM pays tribute to Swami Vivekananda on birth anniversary

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday paid tribute to Swami Vivekananda on his 153rd birth anniversary.

"I salute the venerable Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary," Modi said in a statement issued on the occasion.

Hindu monk Swami Vivekananda is considered to be the key figure who introduced Yoga to the world. He was born on January 12, 1863.
