Spain's Feliciano Lopez beat South Africa's Kevin Anderson 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (7-2) in the game determining the fifth and sixth places in the Abu Dhabi tennis exhibition tournament here on Friday.
Lopez played the match after Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga withdrew from the tournament due to injury following his loss against Spain's David Ferrer, reports Efe.
Ferrer and countryman Rafael Nadal will be playing against each other in the semi-finals, while the other match of the same round will take place between the Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka and Canada's Milos Raonic.
