The new ‘yuva’ trains being introduced by the railways plan to cover pretty long distances in 10-12 hours. The trains, however, have only sitting space and no berths for sleeping. When asked whether this would inconvenience passengers, a senior official joked, “Yes, it will. And that is why we are calling it a train for the youth, as they will face no problems on such long journeys.”
