Nearly one lakh people would form a 650 km-long human chain in Rajasthan covering Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Jaisalmer and Barmer districts.
Jaisalmer collector Om Prakash Kasera said the participants will give the message of patriotism and pride for the nation in the event 'Shahadat ko Salaam' on August 14.
He said Madasar, Chinnu, Hamira, Fatehgarh and other areas of the district would be covered.
