15 doctors, 54 employees found absent from duty in Pb hospital

Sixty-nine employees, including a senior medical officer (SMO), were found absent from duty during a surprise check at the civil hospital here today.

As many as 14 medical officers were among the absentees, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jagwinderjit Singh Sandhu, who led conducted the surprise check at the hospital, said.

Senior medical officer Dr Vijay Kumar, 14 medical officers and 54 other employees were found absent during the checking of the hospital.
