2 girls drown in Nabarangpur district

Two minor girls drowned in a pond at Maliguda village in Odisha's Nabarangpur district today, police said.

The girls, aged 5 and 3 years, had gone to the pond to take a bath and both slipped deep into the water and drowned, they said.

Their bodies were fished out of the water body and police is investigating the incident.
