2 J-K govt officer suspended over communal tension in Rajouri

Two government employees were suspended today for allegedly being involved in a communal tension in Rajouri, where curfew was imposed last night following incidents of stone-pelting and arson, a senior official said.
"We have suspended two government employees in connection with their involvement in communal tension in Rajouri district," Rajouri Deputy Commissioner, Shabir Ahmed Bhat said.
Those suspended are Naib Tehsildar Khurshid Tantrey and Zonal Physical Education Officer Pervez Sikander.
Some youths have also been detained in this regard, DC said, adding that situation is under control and peaceful and there was no reports of any untoward incident from anywhere.
