3 arms smugglers held in Muzaffarpur

Three arms smugglers were arrested today with arms and ammunition here, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, the police raided a place near Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology and arrested three arms smugglers, Superintendent of Police Vivek Kumar said.

The police also recovered three pistols, six magazines, 39 cartridges and four mobile phones from their possession, the SP said, adding that all three had been sent to jail after interrogation.

He, however, did not divulge their names.
