Police today arrested three persons and recovered large quantity of ammonium nitrate from them in Mahoba district, an official spokesperson said.
Deepu alias Yogendra, Naeem and Ramesh were arrested by Kabrai police and 30 sacks of ammonium nitrate were recovered from them, he said.
The accused revealed that they had purchased the material from Naugaon in Madhya Pradesh and it was to be used in illegal mining.
