4 Maoists arrested in Jharkhand, arms and ammunition recovered

Security forces Tuesday arrested four Maoists from a jungle in district and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession, a said.

The Maoists belong to the Peoples Liberation Front of (PLFI), the said.

On the basis of a tip-off that four Maoists had gathered in Titir Mahua jungle, the security forces carried out raids and caught them, the of Police (SP) of district, Prashant Anand, said.

Two foreign-made rifles, 379 bullets and Naxal literature were recovered from them, the SP said.

The Maoists were identified as Gulab Yadav, Rakesh Paswan, and Pawan Yadav, the SP said.
