8 Chinese nationals detained while crossing Indian border

Eight Chinese nationals were today detained here while trying to cross over to Nepal from the Indian side without proper visa papers and passport, an official said.

The group comprising five men and three women who were on their way to Nepal from Delhi were detained by the immigration department in Sonauli area when they failed to produce valid documents, Naresh Harish, In-charge of the check post said.
