Founded merely a year ago, Aam Aadmi Party today made a spectacular debut in Delhi polls by winning 27 seats and unseating several heavyweights of Congress and BJP including three-time chief minister Sheila Dikshit, four-time MLA A K Walia and BJP's Vijender Gupta.
While Kejriwal defeated Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit by a massive vote-margin, hithero unknown faces from AAP toppled her party's several top leaders.
Minister of Health and Family Welfare Dr A K Walia lost people's pulse in Laxmi Nagar as AAP's Vinod Kumar Binny claimed the constituency in a major upset.

Public Work Department Minister Raj Kumar Chauhan, who was a favourite from Mongolpuri, suffered drubbing from 26-year-old local girl Rakhi Birla by a big margin of 10,000 votes.
Another favourite, Minister of Education Kiran Walia was shown the door by the new party's Somnath Bharti in the high-profile Malviya Nagar constituency.
And while Kejriwal-led candidates claimed minister after minister, BJP's Parvesh Sahib Singh, son of Sahib Singh Verma, unseated Assembly Speaker Yoganand Shastri from Mehrauli.
Sitting in the Opposition for 15-years, the BJP made a spirited comeback this poll, riding on a strong anti-incumbency wave and stopping just short of a majority.
Manoj Kumar in Kondli made AAP proud by uninstalling Deputy Speaker Amrish Singh Gautam while Ajay Kumar Malhotra, son of Leader of Opposition in the House, Vijay Kumar Malhotra was handed a defeat by Saurabh Bhardwaj from the same party.
But, perhaps one of the greatest upsets was legendary MLA Prem Singh losing to an AAP first-timer Ashok Kumar in Ambedkar Nagar.
Prem Singh holds a Guinness Book record for winning polls from 1958 regularly from a single constituency and from a single political party and AAP supporters were over the moon after Kumar pulled off this unlikely upset.
"Prem Singh is a legend in the electoral domain and is known to have won any election he has entered into. Our candidate has slain that giant," a supporter said as he shouted "Aam Aadmi Party zindabad!"
26-year-old Prakash in Deoli perhaps set a record of sorts by garnering one of the biggest votes for AAP (51,646) defeating BJP (34,538) and Congress (26,140) by huge margins.
