Ambedkar Sena takes out protest march against Delhi gang-rape

The protest, led by state president Surinder Dhanda, began its march from Sugar Mill on Phagwara-Nakodar road shouting slogans and sporting banners against "growing" incidents of crime against women.

The protesters demanded quick action against the accused and stringent law to curb such crimes. They also criticised government action against demonstrators at India Gate yesterday.

Traffic on the national highway was adversely affected due to the protest march, officials said here.
