Arun Jaitley enrolls himself as BJP's 'active member'

Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley visited Gujarat BJP's headquarters here today and enrolled himself as an "active member" under the party's ongoing membership enrollment drive.

Jaitley was here to attend a connference on 'Regulatory Framework for IFSC in India' at Mahatma Mandir, according to a BJP press release.

After the conference, he visited the party's state headquarters where he was welcomed by Gujarat BJP vice president I K Jadeja, Rajya Sabha MP Mansukh Madavia and several other senior leaders, the release said.

After taking a round of the recently-built BJP office, Jaitley filled up the BJP membership form to become an "active member", the release said.
 

Jaitley is a Rajya Sabha member of BJP from Gujarat.
