Bar Association lifts boycott of HC judge

The Calcutta High Court Bar Association today withdrew its boycott of Justice Girish Gupta's court following an intervention last week by Chief Justice Manjula Chellur.

At a general body meeting of the Association, it was decided to lift the boycott which had started on July 22 after alleged misbehaviour with advocates by Justice Gupta.

They had then passed a resolution to abstain and refrain from attending the bench headed by Justice Gupta.
